There's more to running a photography business than just taking pictures!
To be a successful photography business owner, talent isn't enough. You also need to understand lighting, posing, digital processing, marketing, finances, and time management. Through a collection of workshops, I can teach you everything you need to know, without having to learn by trial and error or endless hours of online research.
For the past five years, I've been teaching aspiring photographers how to start and run a photography business, without having to make the common mistakes along the way. It started with an online workshop that focused on the business end of running a photography studio, like pricing, marketing, equipment, finances, etc. This workshop has grown and changed over the years, and just last fall underwent a major face-lift, making it much easier to access and navigate through.
As I received more and more requests for classes on lighting, posing, and Photoshop, I finally decided to start offering in-person workshops. These weekend workshops have been so much fun and I've met some amazing photographers from all over the country.
Once those workshops were underway, I began receiving requests for one-on-one classes to help people learn specific parts of the business, so the private mentoring workshops were born!
Now I am proud to offer mentoring services in a variety of ways to help you turn your dream of running a photography studio into a reality.
